PENGEMBANGAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA BERDASARKAN DUKUNGAN ORANG TUA DAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN

Abstract

Perkembangan pendidikan siswa di bangku Sekolah Menengah Pertama menjadi perjalanan kritis yang harus diselidiki. Ini karena siswa di usia tersebut mengalami banyak perubahan mulai fisiknya, emosinya, kognitifnya yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajarnya. Untuk itu, penelitian ini dilaksanakan agar pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap motivasi belajar dapat diketahui seperti melalui dukungan orang tua dan media pembelajaran. Studi melalui survei dimanfaatkan di penelitian ini dan data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Siswa di kelas IX menjadi fokus sampel yang akan ditentukan dengan jumlahnya mencapai 50 siswa. Sampel ini diambil dengan teknik sensus. Simpulan di penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara parsial dari dukungan orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar dan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara parsial dari media pembelajaran terhadap motivasi belajar. Meski demikian, penggabungan dari keduanya, yaitu dukungan orang tua dan media pembelajaran secara simultan masih memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar. Ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang dominan untuk mempengaruhi motivasi belajar berasal dari dukungan orang tua dan untuk faktor media pembelajaran juga berperan mempengaruhi motivasi belajar jika telah digabungkan dengan dukungan orang tua
