STUDI TENTANG PENGALAMAN MAHASISWA: PERAN KEGIATAN EKSTRAKURIKULER DAN KETERLIBATAN MAHASISWA

Pelaksanaan investigasi terhadap pengalaman mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi Swasta yang berkaitan dengan peran dari kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan tingkat keterlibatan mereka menjadi tujuan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross-sectional. Total ada 80 mahasiswa terpilih menjadi sampel penelitiannya dari program studi manajemen, akuntansi, teknik informatika, psikologi, dan ilmu komunikasi yang memanfaatkan teknik sampel accidental. Survei dengan bantuan kuesioner dimanfaatkan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitiaan. Teknik statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi digunakan untuk menganalisis datanya dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS. Simpulan dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa tidak diragukan lagi bahwa pengalaman mahasiswa terbentuk melalui kontribusi nyata dari kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan keterlibatan mahasiswa. Dengan adanya aktivitas di luar kurikulum akademis, maka dari sisi pengetahuan yang luas dapat dijangkau mahasiswa serta keterampilan yang subtansial dapat terasah untuk merangsang perkembangan pribadinya dan profesionalnya. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan keterlibatan mahasiswa tidak hanya menjadi investasi berharga untuk mahasiswanya tetapi juga perguruan tinggi tersebut.
