Abstract

Pendidikan kewarganegaraan di sekolah-sekolah memiliki peranan penting untuk membentuk perilaku masyarakat yang lebih taat hukum. Pendidikan ini memberikan pemahaman mengenai hak, kewajiban, dan hukum yang berlaku dalam masyarakat. Melalui pembelajaran yang relevan dan berbasis pada contoh nyata, siswa diajarkan untuk memahami peran hukum dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta menginternalisasi nilai-nilai kedisiplinan dan tanggung jawab. Guru memiliki peran yang signifikan untuk menyampaikan materi dengan cara yang menarik dan aplikatif. Meskipun begitu, tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi pendidikan kewarganegaraan adalah kurangnya perhatian terhadap kualitas pengajaran serta kurikulum yang terbatas. Kolaborasi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat sangat penting untuk memastikan bahwa pendidikan ini  mengajarkan pengetahuan teoritis dan membentuk kebiasaan taat hukum pada siswa. Dengan dukungan yang tepat, pendidikan kewarganegaraan dapat menjadi faktor kunci untuk membentuk generasi muda yang sadar hukum dan bertanggung jawab dalam kehidupan sosial mereka.
